Special holiday price so you can give your best before the end of 2026: $11 for the 11th month, down from $26.
Not just what looks good on you. What looks good around you.
You've been told you're a Summer. Now what? Any app will hand you a season. ChatGPT will do it for free. What nobody else does — not even AI — is tell you where to stand.
Begin your Screen Test — $11 →
Send five photos you chose yourself (up to eight) and get back the document a lead actor gets before a shoot: the read on your photos as a set; your colors, with evidence from your own pictures; what to wear and why; hair and makeup for your contrast; the light to look for; how to pose, angle and hold yourself; and the scenery, surfaces and settings to go hunt down so every one of your best features lands on camera.
One report, organized like a shoot
- THE READ — what your photos say as a set
- YOUR COLORS — with evidence from your own pictures
- WARDROBE — shapes, materials, accessories
- HAIR & MAKEUP — what the camera needs from the face
- YOUR SET — surfaces, walls, light that read with you
- BLOCKING — camera height, chin, shoulders, eyes
- THE CALL SHEET — the checklist for every shoot
- SCENE CARDS — five missions, shareable
Plus, in your PDF: the full guide to all twelve seasons at every skin tone, eye color and hair color — to keep, and to read the people around you.
How it works
- Send your photos. Five guided slots — one of them a thirty-second window shot that decides your colors. Up to three extras if you have them: glasses on, a hat or headwrap you wear, the professional one.
- Check out at Backlot. You pay through Backlot Boutique's checkout. Nothing is read until the order lands.
- Watch it develop. Your report develops live on a private page, section by section, in a few minutes. Save the scene cards. Download the PDF — it lands in your inbox too. Go shoot.
Why it's different
After your Screen Test you won't just know which palette you are — you can forget your season completely. Because I'm going to tell you which specific colors look good on you, and then the part no app does: the backgrounds, the sceneries and the lighting you need to go find to showcase your best features on camera, in photos and on video.
Every film gets a department for this. Someone decides the wardrobe, someone lights the face, someone builds the wall behind it, and someone tells the lead where to stand and what to do with their chin. You've been doing all five jobs yourself, in a bathroom mirror, guessing. This is that department, pointed at you.
Built by a designer who spent twelve years in film and TV scenic departments, where making people and backgrounds read right on camera is the whole job. No scores. No grades. Just a read, and a plan.
Your photos
Your photos are used only to write your report. They're read by Anthropic's Claude, never used to train anything, and the full-size copies the engine works from are deleted the moment your report is delivered. The small copies that illustrate your report stay with it, and are yours to delete any time with one button.
